Exercise in Becoming Present

It's important to live in the present and many yoga teachers will suggest to their students to be present on their mat. It's essential to arrive and be present with yourself. It helps you to BE YOU! BeYouYoga is all about being present with yourself and being comfortable with YOU! Arriving at this space sometimes means embracing and accepting your past and ground in your memories. Understanding your story and how you've arrived can be an important tool in becoming present. Being open to the future and keeping an open mind and more importantly, an open heart also helps to keep you present. By blocking your mind with limiting thoughts, it can interfere with your ability to self-love. Self-love is essential for being present with yourself. Try to ground in your past and open your heart to the future as an exercise in becoming more present with yourself.
